My degree in Multimedia Design and 3D Animation and 10 years as a digital designer allowed me to jump right in with draughting, visualising and problem solving in 3D. At the same time, my paid and volunteer work as a gardener and grower, and training in permaculture design, gave me the insight to understand what I was doing and the interest to learn more.
I also occasionally work with architects, as many of the skills are transferrable, and I’m gradually learning more architecture specific processes. I enjoy the aesthetics and practicality of architecture and have a natural affinity with building in wood.
Both Landscape Architecture and Architecture are fields with a great potential for positively affecting our relationship with the natural environment and with each other. I’m happy and excited to be part of that work.
